The 3rd Annual CUUL Research Dissemination conference is a prestigious event that brings together Library and Information science (LIS) professionals and partners from around the world to discuss and disseminate the latest trends, innovations, and challenges in the LIS field. This year’s conference was an enriching experience with insightful keynote speeches, interactive panel discussions, paper presentations and networking opportunities.
Two SUN-LIB (Soroti University Library) staff namely Ms. Barbra Apolot, who also doubles as the Head, Library services; and Mr. Abdallah Azizi Lujja presented two research papers at this year’s conference titled:
- Enhancing Computational Thinking ability of Early childhood learners
- Digital Literacy (DL) as a strategy for Life-Long Learning in Libraries
The 2-day conference occurred at Makerere University, Yusuf-Lule CTF from Thursday 10th October to Friday 11th October. The representatives from SUN-LIB had the opportunity to network, share experiences and learn from the wealth of researchers, partners and professionals who flew in from various parts of the world.
